François & Marie-Claude
1rst word that comes to your mind: Pizza. I asked him if it was because he was hungry he said yes… and I told him it made me want to eat pizza also since i forgot to have lunch before coming to the mall. By a random coincidence (?), I ended up eating pizza later that night!
While I was trying to find my friend who was also doing this project, I spotted François waiting for someone and “looking into the void”. There was a cellular booth close by so i thought he was waiting for someone to buy & activate the phone and since this is usually long, i decided to go talk to him. The funny thing is that i spotted him from pretty far and there weren’t many people around and headed straight for him, which he saw me coming and it was pretty funny since he must have been thinking “who’s that guy…”. But as soon as i started explaining the project to him, he said he was waiting for his girlfriend to come back from shopping so he agreed to do the project in the meanwhile.
Tell me the 1rst FUN anecdote or story that comes to your mind and that happened to you lately: When i asked him to tell me an anecdote, he had a hard time to find one, and then his girlfriend Marie-Claude came back and said hi to me. I explained her quickly what it was about and she quickly found one for him. He recently bought a small microphone to use with his iphone because he wanted to get rid of heavy rig to bring around when making podcast and recording conversations for his blog. At that point he took out the mike and show it to me. It was a small 1 square inch microphone that plugged in the end of the iphone and had great recording quality for a relatively low price of 40$. He then explained that when he was testing it, he couldn’t think of anything to say so he started saying love words to Marie-Claude and she thought it was funny and cute. We started talking a bit and asked about his passion (he loves gadgets) and told me he is starting a new blog (still under construction in Jan. 2013:www.lenavigator.com) about their passion in motorcycle and riding around the province of Quebec (and others) and what tools, products or services could help someone who wants to do the same. They said they had a really hard time finding good documentation about their motorcycle passion locally so they decided to start this blog and post as they learned while preparing trips and travelling aroundin their new beautiful BMW motos. Good luck!
I thanked them for their time, they were really nice and outgoing, but also really interesting!
