How to filter out your IP address on Google Analytics?

STEP 1

Go to www.google.com/analytics and Sign in.

STEP 2

Click on the ADMIN tab.

Click on the Analytics account in which you want to add a new user.

STEP 4

Click the FILTERS tab.

Click + NEW FILTER.

STEP 6

Create a FILTER NAME, for example “joel IP” to make it clear what it is about. Note: Don’t say “my IP” because if you have other users/many filters it will be confusing.

Find out what is your IP address here.
