This HowTo will tell you how to install music on your Android device, then create a playlist and setup a random alarm based on that playlist. You’ll be able to wake up every morning with random music, speeches, etc.
Unlock your Android phone or tablet BEFORE connecting it to your PC or Mac using the included USB cable.
Copy the files in the Music folder of your device (see image below). Then unplug your device from the computer.
Go to the Google Play store and download the free app Alarm Clock Extreme and install it. Now you need to create a playlist in your Google Play Music.
Open Google Play Music on your Android phone or tablet.
Once in the app, click on the headphones at the top left corner.
Then click on “My Library”
Select the “SONGS” tab.
Select the songs that you want to add to your playlist and click the “3 vertical dots”, then “Add to playlist”.
If you didn’t create a playlist yet, do so here by clicking “New Playlist”.
Once all songs have been added, when you go back to your playlists, you should see your new one.
Now open the Alarm Clock Extreme app and click “Add Alarm” at the bottom left.
Setup your alarm. Select your wake-up time, repeat for all 7 days, choose “Random songs by playlist” as “Sound type”, then select the playlist you just created, turn vibrate OFF! (because it’s annoying and unnecessary), and don’t forget to lower the sound alarm.
Usually, I listen to my motivational alarms this way every morning and don’t turn it off until I’m fully awake and have prepared my cup of tea. It’s a fantastic way to start your day!
